About Us

Manning and Woods Ltd was formed in 2012 through the successful merger of Mannings Ltd and Simon Woods Property Maintenance. Initially located at Mannings’ well known premises in Old Newton, we subsequently moved the office to the Old Station in Haughley when we ran out of space, keeping the other premises as our joinery workshop, stores and showroom.

The company now operates from both premises, customers are always welcome to visit us at the Station for a chat and a cup of tea! The office is open Monday to Friday from 8.30 until 5 pm.

We have a wealth of experience and skills in our team. We pride ourselves on quality, old-fashioned and courteous service, which has led to us having an enviable reputation; just look at our reviews on Checkatrade.com – our score has never been lower than 9.7 out of 10. We also won the prestigious title of Maintenance Company of the Year of the Suffolk Property Awards.

We have numerous accreditations including FENSA, OFTEC and Gas Safe. We have also recently joined CHAS, the recognised pre-approval scheme for health and safety standards.
